يرتبط زمن الميلاد بحدث محوريّ في حياتنا المسيحيّة، حدث فريد لن يتكرّر، حدث تجسّد المسيح، كلمة الله والأقنوم الثاني من الثالوث الأقدس، آخذاً جسد بشريّتنا من مريم العذراء ومولوداً في بيت لحم، ليبدأ عمل الفداء الإلهيّ.
